Learning and Development Programme

The Alliance of Sector Skills Councils in Scotland have been working over the last three months to set in place a range of learning opportunities for the Sector Skills Councils and their staff. We aim to give opportunities for all levels of staff working within the Sector Skills Councils to engage with stakeholders here in Scotland and to build capacity within the network around shared learning from within the Scottish policy context. We will support Leadership and Management through mentoring training and updating relevant to the National Occupational Standards and focus on helping SSCs realise their aims of improved employer engagement, delivering authoritative sectoral Labour Market Information, articulating the employer voice within qualifications design and working successfully through partnerships. For more information on the programme please contact Paul Powrie the Scottish Development Manager on 0131226 7726 or e mail him on: Alliance.Events@Ssascot.org.uk
