RESEARCH EXECUTIVE

Head office based – Stoneleigh Park, nr Coventry, Warwickshire

Salary: £26,000 increasing to £28,000 after 1 year

Lantra is the Sector Skills Council for environmental and land-based industries. We are seeking a Research Executive. Within this varied and interesting role you will primarily plan, conduct and manage research projects to inform on skills, productivity and competitiveness issues in the environmental and land-based sector. You will source and analyse data from national data sources and support your colleagues with appropriate research techniques and methods. You will develop and maintain positive networks with partner organisations to assist with the validating and interpretation of research and data.

You will be educated to degree level and have excellent knowledge of research methods and have experience of handling multiple projects, designing research methods and analysing numerical and written data. Proficient IT skills are essential. A knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS or Map Info would be an advantage.
