Regional Manager – North

(North East, North West, Yorkshire)
6 Month Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover
£28,000 per annum
35 hours per week (but part-time hours will be considered)
Location: Home Based - centrally located within the area

We are one of the 25 Government licensed Sector Skills Councils (SSCs), covering the Housing, Property, Facilities Management, Cleaning Services and Parking Industries. It's our job to ensure employees in these areas are suitably skilled to do their jobs, which in turn helps boost productivity.

We are looking for a confident and articulate Regional Manager to represent Asset Skills in its work with Employers, RDAs, the LSC, other agencies and stakeholders to raise skills levels across our sectors. You will be energetic, with an outgoing personality and preferably have knowledge of our sector and the challenges and opportunities it presents. Excellent communication and project management skills should be combined with experience of post 16 education and training. The post will require a willingness to travel across the region.
