Lantra, the Sector Skills Council for environmental and land-based industries, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver an exciting rural skills initiative with key partners in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The Project Manager will deliver a £1 million skills investment programme in support of the region's land-based sector. This project addresses the skills development of individuals within the rural land-based workforce. In addition to widening participation in relevant technical vocational qualifications the partners will drive and support the participation on management and leadership qualifications, a skill set identified as a key need of the sector. Strong project management experience is required, ideally in the environmental and land-based sector, and you will have good communication, negotiation, promotional, IT and reporting skills.
